am-carbatteries was founded in 2008 after been made redundant from the breakdown recovery industry after 15 years. We started supplying and fitting car batteries at home or work place but when we went to cars we found it wasn't the battery but the alternator so we would then do them, then we started doing starter-motors and radiators as customers requested this. Now we do alternators, batteries, brakes, jump stars, mot collecting and delivery, starter-motors, servicing, roadside assistance, wheel change and advice line.
Our service is to you the costumer what ever you need done to your vehicle we will try our best to do or arrange it done by someone else like if you need a mot done we will collect your car take and stay with your car though its mot let you know if it passes or fails and then return it back to you, Our battery service. We will take your registration no; get you the right battery for your vehicle come to you were ever you are and fit the new battery then we will check your alternator and starter-motor free of charge. We will try and save your radio codes and any memory that is saved in your ecu. Fitting a battery incorrectly can damage your ecu(the brain of the car).
All our batteries carry minimum of three years manufacturers guarantee, All other parts have 12 months guarantee. We use parts from many different parts departments and use main dealer parts if customer request them.
Alan has 20 years experience in the motor trade, Son Chris has past his level two at collage and is doing his apprenticeship in motor engineering.

Alan mac runs this company and has lots of experience to pas on to his son Chris. We are family run.

Suggested I could aquire alternator and they just charge for labour and callout fee to keep costs down which I did. Kept me posted by text re eta on day of job. Cannot fault.

Car was towed to his address and work done quickly and to a high standard. Alan was very upfront about the costs and the communication was excellent. He even gave valuable advice for the future. Would highly reccomend, has restored my faith in mechanics!

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - Brought my Hyundai over from southern Ireland in 2008. Didn't use it for over a year, needed to get it MOT'd, had a flat battery. This company was recommended to me by a work colleague who said they were excellent. Gave them a ring, came to my home on the same day - fitted a new battery, took the car to the testing station, returned it approximately 2 hours later with new MOT. All aspects of service from this company are excellent and now whenever I have any car problems I don't hesitate to contact ambatteries and I can strongly recommend this business. 10/10
