All the confirmations, arrival times, costs and the important details were confirmed in writing.
It was a delicious hog roast with equally delicious and fresh accompaniments, to include roast potatoes, salads, apple sauce fresh rolls and everything else needed to just let me get on with enjoying the party.
All my guests remarked how good it was.
Alan and Dan were really friendly guys as well as being efficient and professional. They were flexible with the party plans and took the trouble to ask for feedback good or bad afterwards.
There was no bad feedback at all and I was so impressed I thought I should share my really good experience as I would like to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fantastic hog roast for any event.
They contributed in a huge way to leave everyone with a really positive memory of a fantastic party
I would certainly use them again myself.

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - Alan John provided a half hog roast for a celebratory party for 60 people that we held in our garden on Sunday 26th August 2012. He arrived on time, set up his equipment with a minimum of fuss and served the food in a most professional manner. Several of our guests had been to hog roasts previously. Without exception their views were that the quality of the meat and accessories served by Alan John exceeded all that they had previously sampled. The meat was succulent and moist and the fact it was all consumed bore testimony to the quality. We would not hesitate to recommend Alan John to anyone considering organising a Hog Roast event in the future.

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - Had the hog roast for my wedding reception which was fantastic and had a BBQ on the sunday which I could not fault, I thought the BBQ was easy and effortless when having people over, the food was of a really high quality so much so people where asking where the butchers was so they could go and get the burgers and sausage for them selfs.
Alan John and his son couldn't have been any more helpfully, polity or friendly, and most of all clean and tidy.
I would have them back in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them to anyone.

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - We had booked Alun John to provide a Hog Roast for a 60th Birthday and Retirement celebration at our Farm. It was held on the Sunday of the Jubilee weekend (3rd June 2012) and the festivities and numbers had been affected by the apalling weather. They turned up well on time and set up without any adverse impact on the party which had been underway since early in the afternoon. Alun dealt with enthusiastic guests attracted by the deliciouse aroma of roasting pork well. Ready to serve well on time, the buffet looked lovely with an array of salads and huge fresh rolls. All guests complimented the meat which was moist, with a wonderful flavour. There were seconds all round and even so Alun left us with several large joints of cooked pork and helped to carry in all of the left over salads, roast potatoes (which were yummy) and rolls. I made a lovely pork, stuffing and apple sauce bake with the remaining sliced meat and am still looking forward to using the remaining now frozen roast hog, having given some to friends.
The service, quantity and quality of the food were excellent and I would have no hesitation in booking Alun again or in recomending the Hog Roast to anyone looking for this type of catering. Many, many thanks Alun.

You provided the hog roast for my daughter's wedding on 5th May 2012. Thank you for such a delicious roast it was cooked to perfection and the crackeling, of which I had a plate full, was simply scrumptious. I was a little dubious when my daughter said she wanted a hog roast for her wedding, but I couldn't have been more delighted. Not only was the roast super, the accompanying salads were also delicious. Your professional, discrete and cheerful manner is a rare thing these days. It was also extreamly good value for money. I couldnt fault your service Thank you so much to both of you.

We had a hog roast for our wedding day main meal and it was delicious - all our guests raved about what a clever idea it was. The quality of meat, salads and potatoes was exceptional (and the crackling was out of this world scrummy - and lots of it too!!!). It was a lovely personal touch to have a family-run business provide our catering and Alan is extremely friendly, helpful, polite and professional. If we have a big event for our baby's christening then we know who will be doing the catering. Thank you for making our day really special.

The standard of equipment they use was first class, everyone involved was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with from the organisation process up the the day of the event itself. The quality of meat was jawdropping and all our attendees were very impressed.
