Active Physio - Physio

Formed in 2007, Active Physio is a premier private physiotherapy service offering treatment and rehabilitation to individuals in the Portsmouth area. Active Physio treats all conditions including low back pain, sciatica, whiplash, sports injuries, and provide pre and post operative rehabilitation.

The founder, Ashley Barnes is a Physiotherapist with a strong background in sport and exercise physiology and nutrition. He is Chartered with the Society of Physiotherapy and State registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Ashley has degree qualifications in exercise, nutrition and health science and Masters degrees in sport and exercise physiology and physiotherapy. Active Physio treats the vast majority of musculoskeletal conditions. Some of the conditions for which physiotherapy has proved to be beneficial is neck and back pain, spinal conditions, whiplash injuries, sports injuries, shoulder injuries, repetitive strain injuries, and rehabilitation of fractures and surgery.
