I am writing to say what a fantastic service Acorn Executive Cars give as well as Acorn Photography Services. We got married on the 21st April 2012 at Dover Castle and Avril and Chris took some amazing pictures of our special day. They went above and beyond and thought of all weather conditions. Our DVD slide show was absolutely amazing and bought a tear to our eyes. It bought back lovely memories and the imput and music was perfect. We were very impressed after using acorn cars for our wedding, the Chrysler 300 was beautiful, it was there early and waited patiently for us to be ready. We were looking for a nice car for a nice price and that is exactly what we got. for the price we paid I think the service was brilliant. would definitely recommend this to anybody.
Hi to anyone thinking of going to use Acorn Cars. We used them on the 1st April for our wedding and had a silver Chrysler. The service was spot on and they had ribbons over the car to match the theme of our big day. Not only this we got a bottle of champagne for our journey and we were given a just married sticker for the back of own car with our names on. Sadly my wife has put it in her car now LOL. I would recomend this company to my friends and family for future occasions.
We used Acorn Executive Cars for our wedding in February this year and the service was absolutely wonderful. The car was beautifully decorated to match our colour scheme. The car arrived with loads of time, so there was no panic for us. Acorn Executive Cars really helped make our wedding day so perfect and we would reccomend them to anyone.
I booked a Wedding Getaway car for my wedding on 24th April 2010 for a pickup at The Hop Farm in Kent at 23:45. By midnight, there was no sign of the car nor a phonecall. On ringing the contact number I was phoned back at 00:10 from a distraught and very lost driver 'somewhere near Tunbridge Wells'! It was at this point (waiting outside our wedding venue with a tired bride and many confused guests that we cancelled the car and used favours to find alternative transport to Ashford.
All in all very dissappointing, not only to be so very late and lost (in their own back yard effectively), but also for no attempt to be made to contact us.
At a time when reliability was an absolute necessity, and the numerous good reviews on this site helped gain my trust, Acorn really did let me down. A groom doesn't need to do much for a wedding day, but organising his transport to whisk his bride away is one key point, and this debacle didn't make me look good!
These people struck me as nice people, and I hate leaving bad reviews in general, but this was very disappointing.
We required to be collected from Gatwick Airport and transported home some 80 miles after a long and arduous journey. We were met by the Company representative, who made himself visible in the crowded areas of Arrival. We were taken directly to the vehicle which was a luxury Bentley car. The ride home was very comfortable and smooth. It was a pleasure. We arrived safely at home and have since used Acorn on other occasions as we feel they are reliable, trustworthy and very efficient. We recommend Acorn to anyone else who wants a "stress free" ride home after an exhausting day of travelling.
I have used Acorn Cars on a number of occasions. Every time my expectations were met in full, sometimes beyond. The staff are friendly but business like, punctual when collecting from the airport or other base. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody.
