Acer Property Maintenance - Home and Garden Maintenance CompanyACER Property Maintenance carries out work of the most minor nature such as changing a tap, to large scale jobs like fitting a luxury bathroom. The scope of the company’s work is best illustrated by the following examples.
A garage and kitchen extension – A previous job required the digging out of foundations, laying of drains, laying of foundations, building walls to single storey level, screeding and laying floor tiles. Further work includes installing a complete kitchen (plumbing for washing machine and dishwasher, fitting of floor and wall units, electrics, tiling, plastering walls, fitting doors (one fire door and one double door) the roof to this particular extension was a flat roof, which was built and a 20 year guarantee obtained from the felter.
A bedroom and en-suite bathroom extension – taking down the existing roof to the property and the demolition of large sections of existing walls. The walls were built in timber with tiles to exterior to protect. The timber tongue and grooved floor covering was laid upon a chipboard floor. The company knocked through from the property to the extension, a door was fitted into this access space. Within the extension a wall was constructed that formed an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom consisted of a large corner bath and shower; sink and vanity unit, bidet and wc. The walls and floor to this bathroom were fully tiled. Walls to the bedroom were plasterboarded and painted, the roof to this extension was pitched and cut into the existing roof.
A garage, bedroom and en-suite bathroom two storey extension – A luxury self-contained shower unit was fitted by Acer Property Maintenance, instead of a bath. The ground to the exterior of the property also had to be cleared, foundations dug, drains laid, the driveway needed to be dug up to allow for this and then reinstated. The garage door was two large timber doors which gave the property a homely feel.
A bedroom, kitchen/living room, bathroom extension – Foundations were dug, drains fitted, foundations laid, walls built, windows fitted, floors laid. Acer Property Maintenance constructed the roof (plus incorporating a dwarf pitched roof to disguise the flat roof). Work included a walk-in shower with a huge opening roof-light above, the shower incorporated 6 body jets, the bathroom also contained a toilet, bidet and sink, fully tiled. The bedroom was tongue-and-grooved timber laid onto felt on top of the screeded concrete floor. Four doors were fitted to the property as well as moving an existing double door from the rear of the property to the rear of the new extension. Fitted a full kitchen; floor and wall units, work surfaces, plumbing for dishwasher and washing machine, the floor to this kitchen/dining area was tiled after applying a self-levelling compound to take out any discrepancies in the concrete floor.
