I visited Absolute Beds in early December to purchase a mattress and decided to buy a Hypnos mattress. There is usually a 5 - 6 week delivery period for these mattresses but owing to the Christmas holidays I was told it would take 8 weeks. I called Absolute Beds about 2 weeks ago and was told my bed should be delivered on 2nd February. On the 28th January I received an e-mail from Absolute Beds stating that they were unable to fulfill my order within the time scale scheduled originally and had refunded my money.
Given that I had been waiting nearly 2 months for this mattress I was very upset at both the cancellation and the manner in which it was done. I would have appreciated a phone call to advise what the problem was and if they would be able to deliver it in a couple of weeks more instead. I have tried calling them every day so far since 28th January and keep getting the same person who tells me that he'll get someone to call me back. So far I have heard nothing back from them. I received the refund today but am still very frustrated with the lack of service I've received from them. I will not be using this company again.
