A : b : i : r architects is a dynamic and forward looking architectural practice founded the core values of responsible, design led buildings that are rooted in their landscape and communities. Between them directors Giles Ings, Matthew Richardson, Olli Blair and Simon Atkins have over 65 years combined experience in the architectural and construction industry, 30 years of which have been as professionally qualified chartered (RIBA) and registered (ARB) architects.

All the directors have wide ranging experience in numerous industry sectors including housing, medical, community, education, domestic and retail, allied with experience and expertise both within the UK and internationally (inc europe and the middle east).

They have a wide range of expertise - from small domestic projects to large residential developments, community buildings, GP surgeries, offices, hotels and listed buildings - and offer the full range of architectural services from RIBA stages A-L including drawing and design work for planning applications, building regulation approval and construction as well as building contract administration.

The practice is an RIBA chartered practice, is ISO9001 accredited and is a member of Brighton and Hove ProHelp.

All the directors are ARB and RIBA registered, are members of the Green Register and sit on various Local Authority Design Panels across the region. Giles Ings is Chairman of Brighton and Hove ProHelp.

The company is managed by four directors - Simon Atkins, Olli Blair, Giles Ings and Matthew Richardson with over 65 years industry experience between them.
