1.0 out of 5 | My fridge freezer broke and I found A. Brassett's (fridge repair- peoples) Flashy looking website on the internet.
After booking an appointment they sent an engineer to diagnose the problem. It took him about 2 mins to tell me that it's a simple part (fan motor) and that he could phone his colleague in the office and she would sort it from there with regards to ordering the part. They charged my card 52.87 for call out and supposedly the fitting which never took place.
14 days later and about a billion phone calls later- (they never call you back!) and I'm still without a fridge. A Brassett told me that the part got lost in the post and they might have one by early next week but not sure when. I asked for a refund but they refused.
I decided to do some research and contact the manufacturer direct. They have sent me the part on an overnight courier and I've got a local fridge engineer to come and fit it as soon as I receive it. It took 5 mins to order the part on credit card and 2 mins to book the engineer for tomorrow.
I have had to contact MasterCard to claw the payment back from A.Brassett. My advice in short is: Don't touch this company with a barge pole!!!
