Based in Storrington, West Sussex, the World of Wine operates three retail shops in Storrington, Steyning and Henfield and a thriving wholesale business.

Retail shops.
The retail shops stock a wide range of wines from across the world with a good selection at less than 5. 00 a bottle. Most wines are in the 6. 00 / 8. 00 range while there are a number of excellent wines at 10. 00 to 14. 00 - with some special wines from around 20. 00.

The shops are open from 10. 00 a. M. To 5. 30 p. M. Tuesday to Saturday with later closing on Fridays.

All the shops have a monthly tasting of new or favourite wines; usually on a Saturday morning and run both featured wine and producer promotions as well as multi-case buys and discounts.

The wines are unlikely to be found on a supermarket shelf and while one can find a wine for dinner within a few moments it is worth spending a little time browsing the shelves and chatting with the knowledgeable and enthusiastic managers.

Wholesale Business.
Clients operate in all aspects of the on-licensed trade. From pubs and clubs to theatres and piers via some of the best restaurants in the region.
The representatives cover East and West Sussex, parts of Hampshire, Surrey and Kent - with wholesale going further a field via telephone orders, even into Wales.

The wholesale list is not quite so encompassing as the retail stock at around just 300 wines but these are carefully chosen to provide both customer appeal and the margins required.
