Vortex Valves Europe Ltd - Valve ManufacturerVortex Valves Europe Limited are a wholly owned subsidiary of their U.S. based parent manufacturing company Salina Vortex Corp based in Salina Kansas. Vortex Corp has been designing and manufacturing valves specifically for dry bulk solids handling since the mid 1980's and more recently set up their European operation in Darlington during 2006.
The company has developed a unique orifice slide gate valve that is self cleaning, has hard polymer seals outside of the blast abrasion flow and can be maintained whilst remaining in the line. Over 50% of the valves supplied are variations of standard designs to ensure optimum solutions for clients production issues.
Vortex valves are provided world-wide to many blue chip companies including Proctor and Gamble, Kimberley Clarke and Cadbury Schweppes.
