Urchin Studios - Recording Studio

Urchin Studios is a professional music recording facility based in Limehouse, East London.

The studio was created by musicians and recordists who were sick of having their creativity neutered by artistically unengaged engineers and producers. The friendly and engaging staff listen to and are sensitive to the needs of all clients. From a single overdub to a full production album, Urchin Studios will passionately accommodate any number of musical pursuits.

The studio is run by Dan Cox and Matt Ingram who have been involved in the Music industry in various capacities for many years.

Dan is an experienced recording engineer and guitarist, having gained his audio engineering diploma at international technology college SAE, and honed his recording skills for several years at London's Ignition Studios.

Matt is an expert producer and arranger, as well as having played drums for some of the UK's top rock acts for over 10 years, he also comes armed with a music degree and a wicked sense of humour.

Urchin Studios has an ever expanding network of clients, located in and around London, as well as across Europe. Recent clients have included: Emmy the Great, The Teenagers, Tallulah Rendall, and Skin (formerly of Skunk Anansie).
