Theatre of Gifted Youth - Stage SchoolFounded in 1996, Theatre of Gifted Youth has 11 years experience in the training of young people in the Performing Arts sector, and focuses on providing young people with access to the advice and teaching of working professionals. They have helped a record bursting 37 people gain NCDT / CDS recognised drama school places in the last 10 years. They're curriculum includes tap and jazz dance, vocal studies, solo and group singing, classical acting technique, stanislavskian techniques, stage combat, mask theatre, physical theatre, monologue and duologue tuition. Ex graduates of TOGY have gone on to take up places at Birmingham School of Acting, Guidlford School of Acting, Central School of Speech and Drama, Webber Douglas, Mountview Theatre School, The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, Liverpool Institue of Performing Arts, Drama Centre London, Laines Dance School, Arts Educational. Ex graduates have worked on National and International Musical theatre tours, The RSC, Billy Elliot the Musical, Doctors Peak Practise, Shoot the Writers and Casualty.
Theatre of Gifted Youth has four regular staff members and many guest teachers.
