The Groove Rooms Drum Tuition - Music TutorThe Groove Rooms is a fully equipped teaching studio sponsored by Mapex Drums with two full size drum sets, one each for the student and the teacher.
The groove rooms use the internationally acclaimed teaching method drumsense. Beginners can get started with no experience neccesery-- rock --jazz-- rudiments and a comprehensive and enjoyable play along programme.
A full sized pa system and backing tracks to suit your playing style provided and endorsed by drumfun turn it up and lay it down the berklee recommended play along backing tracks for drummers and percussionists. A veiwing window for parents to watch there children's progress and a waiting area to relax while waiting for your lesson tea and coffee and lessons are charged at 9. 00 per half hour
and 18. 00 for the hour.
Staff are CRB checked with 20 plus years experience and your first half hour lesson is free learn to play the drums the groove rooms way.
Hours of BusinessThe Groove Rooms Drum Tuition are open for business from 12.00 to 09.00 Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 08.00 Saturday and are closed Sunday.

4.7 out of 5 | My daughter has been going to the Groove Rooms since January having never picked up a pair of drum sticks before and she is loving it. Duane is a great teacher giving her support and encouragement at every lesson. His friendly approach puts her at ease and not she is not afraid to make mistakes ask questions etc. We travel from Doncaster but think it is worth it. I enjoy going with her and being able to sit and relax whist listening to her play. Duane is very flexible changing times/days etc. to fit in with my work arrangements or when I am unable to take her. Duane is very helpful and lessons are arranged around my shift work. There are comfy sofas in the waiting area and free tea and coffee for parents waiting for their children.
