Song and Dance for your Wedding provides two services: Wedding dance lessons, and wedding singers. Wedding dance couples work with a professional dance tutor, teaching clients in their own home. The expert tutor choreographs an original first dance routine, to be performed at the wedding reception. Couples booking a wedding singer can have a classically trained soprano performing music of their choice, at the wedding ceremony or reception.
The company is staffed by professional artistes with distinguished performing careers, including West End theatre credits and broadcasts for the BBC and Channel Four television, and appearances with major UK venues, theatre and opera companies. The artistes have classical dance or music training and qualifications, and are members of the professional performing associations Equity and the Incorporated Society of Musicians. Sara Cluderay is a professional singer trained at Trinity College of Music. She has broadcast for the BBC, toured with Travis and Echo and the Bunnymen, and sung at the Barbican and the National Portrait Gallery. Sara has been singing at weddings for 15 years. Malachi Spaulding is a professional dancer, trained at Ballet Rambert, whose career highlights include 'The Lion King' (West End) music videos for Kylie and Jamiroquai, Vienna Festival Ballet and Irie Dance Theatre. Malachi has been teaching dance for many years.
