Shire Lodge is a growing business offering accommodation to clients throughout the local area. The business, which is based in Bury, Ramsey (Huntingdon), originally started out in 2004.
Family run business providing quite and peaceful Bed and Breakfast.
Situated on the edge of the village of Bury, surrounded by countryside, providing quality accommodation. Friendly and home from home atmosphere.
Small shopping centre: St Ives and Huntingdon, approx. 10mins drive. Large shopping centres at Peterborough 20mins drive and Cambridge 30mins drive. Ely Cathedral 20mins drive.
The business aims to supply companies and the general public with a professional service. There are 2 double bedrooms with en suite facilities. A further bedroom which has a double bed and single bed, suitable for the small family. This room has a private bathroom. Two rooms have a connecting door, suitable for the larger family. All rooms can be used as singles, at a reduced rate. The Bed and Breakfast also offers a jacuzzi and separate lounge, with snooker table and reclinning chairs.
Full English breakfast, continental or vegetarian on request.
Each room has tea / coffee making facilities, alarm clock, flat screen TV with freeview, ironing facilities on request. Dogs, (well behaved), are welcome.
The business is owned by Shona and Bob who have been focussing on the Bed and Breakfast market for several years.

We were invited to a wedding in Warboys, over Bank Holiday weekend, and we needed somewhere to stay, as we were travelling a long way. To find a Bed & Breakfast that would both accommodate us all and be at a reasonable rate - when there are not many in the area, we thought would be a real challenge. And then if we found one, would it enhance our stay? Well, we can say that we all were made to feel very welcome, with very friendly chat from Bob, and great service and extra help from Shona. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, the atmosphere friendly and welcoming and the breakfast hearty and plentiful.
