Shiatsu practitioner John McKeever RPSSI (T) has been providing natural health care in Belfast since 1990. John offers shiatsu, massage and meditation therapies to help with physical, mental and emotional issues.

The main issues that John treats include: upper and lower back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, whiplash and a wide variety of muscular pains and discomforts: insomnia and other sleep disorders: stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional problems: diet, digestive and intestinal problems: migraines; fatigue and low energy.

John McKeever, BA, MA, RPSSI (T) (Registered Practitioner Shiatsu Society Ireland (Teacher)) has been a professional Shiatsu practitioner for over 17 years. He graduated from the School of Shiatsu and Natural Healing, Co Kerry (now the Irish School of Shiatsu) in 1990 and completed a postgraduate course with the Shiatsu College in Norwich 2 years later. He also qualified in massage at the Lifespring School Belfast in 1992 and continues to find massage of great benefit in his practice.

In 2003 John gained his teaching diploma from the Shiatsu Society of Ireland, qualifying him to teach students to professional practitioner level. He currently offers a range of courses from beginner to practitioner level at venues throughout Northern Ireland.

He has served a number of terms on the committee of the Shiatsu Society of Ireland both as chairperson, secretary and editor of the Society newsletter.

John is teaching an 'Introduction to Shiatsu' courses (part of the Queens University Belfast 'Open Learning Programme').
This class is suitable both for complete beginners and those with experience who want to consolidate their practical skills in a teaching environment.
