Sheffield Fibromyalgia Self Help Group - Voluntary OrganisationSheffield Fibromyalgia Self Help Group is a voluntary organisation, offering advice, information and support for fibromyalgia sufferers throughout the local area. Founded in 1998, the organisation is based in Sheffield and has monthly meetings at the Quaker Meeting House on St James Street in the City Centre.
Sheffield Fibromyalgia Self Help Group works in association with The Fibromyalgia Association UK Charity. The help group provides information leaflets, books and a newsletter for FMS sufferers, carers and supporters. Promotional fund raising merchandise is also available at very reasonable costs to help fund raising the awareness of Fibromyalgia. They also arrange presentations and talks from medical professionals and alternative medicine practitioners.
