The Directors of Secur-Ed began in the infancy of the CCTV industry, turning their passion for 'the human element' into Secur-Ed, they offer managment and training services to the public and private sector throughout the UK.

Licensed by ASET and BIIAB to deliver qualifications in support of the SIA licence in Door Supervision, CCTV Operation and Security Guards. Additionally offering the Certificate in CCTV Supervison and the Level 5 Diploma in the Management of CCTV Operation.

John and Barbara Ansell, Directors of SECUR-ED believe deeply in the need for training. Both are qualified to train in SIA endorsed licensing qualifications, and meet the full teaching requirements set out by the SIA and their endorsed Awarding Bodies of ASET and BIIAB.

Secur-Ed offers courses in support of the SIA licence for Level 2 Door Supervisors, Level 2 CCTV Operators and Level 2 Security Guards. Additionally they offer the Level 3 Award in the Supervision of CCTV Control Room Operatives and the Level 5 Diploma in the Management of CCTV Operations.

As an independent company they also offer system audits and managment advisory service.

Secur-Ed believes people are the greatest investment, and worthy of quality training which shows in their performance. All courses are designed to be useful and practical. In addition a clear career progression is available in the courses design.

The proof is in the students return to work, a distinct difference should be seen in their level of professionalism and accountability. Secur-Ed is dedicated to developing professionalism and efficiency.

Barbara and John were founding Directors of the national CCTV User Group, an organisation driven by members from the public and private sectors. Their roles included membership generation, planning of conferences, workshops and seminars, publicity of CCTV schemes, promoting a network of scheme managers, the formation and leadership of the Standards Committee and utilising all avenues available to assist in the successful development of public CCTV schemes. John has earned the MSc in Security Managment while Barbara earned a BSc in Business Studies and Science.

Secur-Ed has a satisfied network of clients, based throughout the UK, including Local Authorities, Shopping Centres, Private Schemes, and Individual Clients interested in improving their career prospects.

Independent CCTV audits have been successfully conducted on Shopping Centres and Town Centre CCTV schemes. Secur-Ed is a life-time Honorary member of The CCTV User Group, the Federation of Small Businesses and the Institute of Security Managment.
