Sanctuary Counselling - Occupational HealthWith over 7 years experience in providing counselling services, Sanctuary is a growing social enterprise, offering generic counselling for most causes of mental distress to adults, young, adults and children, GP practices, solicitors and employers across South East Wales. Founded in 2000, the non-profit organisation and registered charity is based in Gurnos (Merthyr Tydfil) and Pencoed (Bridgend).
The organisation offers a range of counselling and employer support services to businesses, which is designed to help employers meet HSE regulations and increase workforce productivity by providing counselling to employees and training to management in order to create a mentally healthy workplace for employees. With counselling suites in both sites, the organisation also has fully qualified and experienced team of counsellors allowing clients to promote mental wellbeing.
Sanctuary Counselling is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Professionals (BACPS) and the Association for Counselling in the Workplace (ACW).
