4.3 out of 5 | I am the director of an independent recruitment consultancy based in Hertford with a turnover of approximately £400K. It isn't necessary for me to employ a book-keeper on a full time basis as the workload doesn't warrant that expense, so I found that I was struggling with the accounts myself, and using the services of a very unreliable 'friend of a friend' who would turn up when he felt like it.
As the company expanded I found that I was using more and more of my valuable time on this instead of running the business and generating the revenue in the first place. So I decided to contact SW Accounting Services. It was like a breath of fresh air to eventually find someone who delivers on what they say, who turns up on time and who managed to fit into our environment immediately. Due to Sue's work commitments at that time it made it impossible for her to work weekdays, so she happily came in on a Saturday for 7 weeks running to get all of my accounts and VAT returns etc up to date. Sue now comes in for one day on a weekly basis to keep things ticking over, so I no longer have to worry about invoicing, credit control or VAT returns, and I can get on with running my business. |
