With over 20 years experience importing and retailing classic Chinese Furniture, Oriental Expression is an Aladdins’ Cave of beautiful furniture crafted in solid rosewood and ash, blended with a selection of Oriental antiques, ornaments and lamps.

Set-Up in 1985, the business is based in Pampisford (close to the M11 junction 10, just south of Cambridge) and supplies customers direct, cutting out middle mans' costs.

As well as a broad selection for immediate delivery they have an extensive range of choice and will custom make any item to your own design in any style from a choice of woods.

The company creates elegant furniture which is hand crafted to a very high standard and is renowned for their range of outstanding dining suites and bespoke furniture.

The furniture is made from solid wood and may be carved, inlaid with mother of pearl, or plain, according to your taste, blending perfectly with both traditional and contemporary settings, both in the home and the office.

Classic Chinese and European styles are available from the shop (Tuesday - Saturday 10. 00am - 5. 00 pm) and may also be viewed on the website.

Oriental Expression was started in the mid 1980’s by craftsman and teacher Rob McCretton, originally based in Newnham in Cambridge, he moved to the Old Tannery Shop in Pampisford and has recently relocated to the Eastern Counties Leather Estate, approximately 150 meters along the road.

As a craftsman Rob recognises the excellent quality of design, construction, workmanship and materials used, really appreciating the care and skill dedicated to creating each piece. Started in 1985, Oriental Expression specialises in only high quality Chinese furniture from selected workshops.
