Orient Express - Thai RestaurantOn arrival at The Orient Express customers are greeted by a warm friendly welcome, before been offered the choice of dining in one of the two quite different restaurants it houses. Customers can choose from either the Beijing City – Chinese and oriental buffet or the Bangkok City – Thai restaurant, both being served by a well stocked bar with a reasonably priced and well balanced wine list.
The Beijing City has a contemporary café bar feel to it whilst still remaining family friendly, and unless customers have a large party doesn’t take reservations and operates on a first trough the door basis. The Bangkok City restaurant in contrast is decorated in a traditional yet contemporary Thai style, and offers and extensive a l’carte menu, with the option of choosing one of the “Flavours of Thailand” set menus, which offer excellent value for money with a balanced selection dishes, which are typical of the region of Thailand after which they are named. Customers can experience all the tastes and flavours of traditional Thai cuisine.
