North Norfolk Karate Club - Martial ArtsThe North Norfolk Karate Club teaches Karate of both a Traditional Shotokan and Freestyle base. Althought at all time the primary focus is Self Defence. Instructors have many years experience in the Martial Arts and Self Defence world, and focuses on providing Martial Arts training to individuals throughout the local area. The club is based in Downham Market with classes being held various locations in the surrounding area including Wimbotsham Village Hall and the Howdale Community Center.
The club provides local people (adults and children) from the age of 5
upwards with a range of classes from Karate to Female Self Defence and
Private / 1-2-1 Tuition. People train at their own pace and have the
opportunity to progress through various award schemes / grades should
they wish to. Training is not only physical but also mental, not only offering
self defence and fitness training, but also as optional extras such as
okinawan weapons and meditation.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience from the top level association,
participants can be sure that they are in good hands. The North Norfolk Karate Club is a member of the English Karate Organisation and is supported by Norfolk County Council. The North Norfolk Karate Club has an expanding number of students, situated in and around Downham Market, including people with learning and physical disabilities of all ages. Members enjoy discounted prices on all sorts of Martial Arts equipment from brands such as Cimac, Blitz, Giko and T-Sport.
