New Leaf Trust - Offender Rehabilitation Service

Established in 2007, New Leaf Trust is a Community Interest Company with the dedicated aim of providing support and assistance for the rehabilitation of convicted sex offenders. They work with a variety of agencies to achieve this including the police, probation and prison service. They also involve other partners in coordinating public protection work with convicted sex offenders.

New Leaf Trust use networks of professionals and trained volunteers to provide practical support for offenders. They are a member of the government funded national body 'Circles UK' and will operate the specific, evaluated and nationally agreed model known as 'The Circle of Support and Accountability'.

New Leaf Trust is keen to work with professionals, academics, politicians and the media in developing practice and raising awareness of their service. They readily share their knowledge, skills and experiences with other public protection organisations.

The practice guidelines issued by Circles UK are adhered to rigidly by New Leaf Trust. Staff are made up of experienced professionals with backgrounds in the prison and probation services and the police. In common with other accredited Circles providers they adhere to MAPPA protocols and safeguarding procedures.
