5.0 out of 5 | We only spent one night at Meadow Oak but we might have been old friends from by the welcome we were given. Deborah and Eric thoroughly deserve the reviews that have already been posted and we can only add our praise to them. The room was very good, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom might have been refitted the day before. Eric not only suggested somewhere to eat on the Saturday night, which was every bit as good as he said it would be. He also rang and booked a table for us at short notice and even drove us into Bodmin so that we could have a drink. Such service is all too rare these days and we really appreciated it. The breakfast was superb and set us up for the day. All in all, we're really glad we found Meadow Oak and would recommend it to anyone wanting a base from which to explore Cornwall. 5.0 out of 5 | Better than expected. Both Deborah and Eric the owners of the B&B were both welcoming and friendly. They took time to explain the local amenities including places to eat - very helpful. The room was exceptional as were the personal touches e.g. the DVDs and bag of fruit and bottle of water to take away. I would definitely stay again; when I am next in the area.
