Max Cohen Counselling Service - Counsellor

Individual and Couples Psychotherapy and Counselling

Max Cohen is an accredited therapist with over twenty years experience. He integrates; person-centred, cognitive, behavioural and psychodynamic models of counselling into his clinical practice.

He specialises in working with people with;
- stress, anxiety and depression
- relationship difficulties
- self esteem and confidence issues
- anger problems
- addictions, other dependencies and co-occurring disorders

He also delivers various short treatment programmes, for example; managing anger and drug / alcohol treatment.

Max is skillful in delivering interventions sensitive to client's needs. Experience has shown him that each client's therapy needs to be appropriate, practical and individually structured.

Prior to setting up the Counselling Service Max was the Treatment Director of a therapy service in East Anglia. He has worked at the Priory Hospital, as well as managing a charity that provided counselling.

He regularly delivers training to professionals and supervises other counsellors.
