Lightning Services - Motorbikes Specialising in Harley Davidson, Buell, British and European Twins, Lightning Services is more than capable of looking after your bike whatever the make - Classic or Modern. They provide Spares, Repairs, Tyres and Servicing for of all makes and types of motorcycle. Although not a MoT Testing Station, they also offer an MoT Test Service in conjunction with their partner Riverside MoT Centre which completes the range of services on offer. A friendly welcome greets owners of all machines at Lightning Services. Their premises can be found in the village of Hilperton near Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
They offer Fixed Price Service Menus for most makes and models as well as Insurance Approved Repair, Engineering, Component Overhaul, Restoration, Refinishing and Customisation facilities. They are a specialist Motorcycle Only Tyre Service Centre - using proper weights for wire spoke wheels. High quality consumables, OEM and aftermarket parts and the latest Computerised Diagnostic System mean that Lightning Services can meet the needs of owners with the latest models as well as those with classic machines. Riders can be sure that their machine will be properly cared for at Lightning Services.
As well as OEM and pattern parts, as an Authorised Dealership for the top names in the Harley and Custom aftermarket Lightning Services can supply a wide range of parts for your custom bike, too. All available from their premises at Hilperton or by Mail Order. With weekly deliveries from European and American distributors and producers, that desperately needed part is never too far away. They can also commission bespoke motorcycle parts that are suitable for restorations and mild street customs or even the wildest of custom bikes. Baz also offers customers a full custom bike building service.
Lightning Services has a loyal local customer base for their Repair, Routine Servicing and Tyre Services. There are riders of Commuter, Sports, Touring, Custom and Classic bikes. Orders for parts come from as far a field as South Africa as well as all over the UK, many customers taking advantage of the Mail Order Service. Local enthusiasts can call in to collect their orders from Baz in person. Customising, Restoration, Refinishing, Engineering, Engine and Gearbox work is shipped to Lightning Services by customers from as far a field as the Isle of Man as well as all across mainland Britain.
Owner Baz Sullivan has many years experience as an engineer and of riding, living with and working on British, European, American and Japanese motorcycles. Baz is hands on with both customers and their bikes - he works in the workshop and tyre bay as well as the front of shop and parts counter. Recommendations from satisfied customers are worth more than any magazine advert and Baz is pleased to be able to say that around 25% of new customers are from referrals and recommendations.
Hours of BusinessLightning Services are open for business from 9.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday and are closed Saturday to Sunday.

We jointly organised many events and meetings so I can vouch first hand that he is very professional and dedicated in all that he undertakes. To be fair I have yet to use the workshop facilities at Lightning Services, being able to maintain my machines myself. However I have bounced the odd problem off Baz and received sound advice. To sum up the work they did - Strip , powder coat and rebuild both wheels supply so many parts both replacement originals and custom parts and loads and loads of advise . without Baz and his guys help I don't think I could have done it as quickly or as well , there patience with my endless stupid questions was amazing .

They have serviced my Evo Wideglide and my Road King and stage one'd the Road King too. 5.0 out of 5 | I wanted to have the barrels of my chopper diamond cut. After hours on the phone to the USA where the attitude was "take it, or leave it" so I decided to leave it. I was then given the telephone number of Baz from Lightning Services, one call the price & delivery time were agreed. Two weeks later a parcel arrived, with nervous haste I ripped the box to shreds, only to reveal the most amazing diamond cut barrels I had even seen.
