La Cuizine's clients are passionate about hosting dinner parties. They like to experience fresh home-cooked meals tailored to their likes and dislikes. Many of them also want to brush up their French language skills whilst learning about French food and wine.
Food in all its aspects is Iza's main passion, and her enthusiasm to communicate this love for food has been the drive for starting up La Cuizine. She believes in seasonality of ingredients, which brings out the best of locally sourced ingredients, and in the nourishing component of food cooked with care and skills. Food should feed the soul as well as satiating the palette; cooking is not solely a way to feed oneself but is a means to reach out to others, friends, loved ones and strangers alike as well as a path to one’s well-being.

4.7 out of 5 | A French Chef with a difference! Bristol based Iza is an amazing chef, having eaten her food I'm looking forward to more in the near future. Next time I may even be adventurous enough to combine the conversational French with the cookery lesson. Her warmth and personality is quite unexpected in such a skilled chef, and it was a pleasure from start to finish. Maybe I will learn how to say what 'Lemon Pudding' is in french next time, as well as learn how to make it! If Iza is as good at teaching French as she is at teaching French Cookery I'll be a master at cookery and French before too long. |
4.0 out of 5 | I used the services of La Cuizine on two occasions. First, I had La Cuizine to cater for my dinner party. I was very happy with the quality of the food, the customer-friendly approach of Iza (the chef) and the fact that I could eat great food even though I have some food intolerance. We had fun and Iza was very easy going.
I also decided to improve my cooking skills and have to say that La Cuizine's private cooking lesson was the right choice. I decided what meals I want to learn to cook and spent fantastic 3 hours (partly cooking and partly eating my own creations) in a relaxed atmosphere in my own kitchen.
