Formed in 1985 the ECS Group of Rotherham have grown organically to become one of the most successful Security Provider / Training Companies in the Region. ECS Security is a highly respected national security Company providing quality uniformed physical security services including mobile patrols, static guarding and alarm key-holding services to a diverse client base.

The ECS client base includes providing services, (including Courts Security Officer) to Her Majesty's Court Services in: - Gloucestershire, Dorset, Gwent, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. ECS have been providing Courts Security Services since 1991.

ECS also provide high level specialist security services to Nottinghamshire Police Authority at their operational Headquarters.

ECS Group is a member of the British Security Industry Association.

The ‘Security Industry Authority' now manage the licensing of the private security industry as set out in the Private Security Industry Act 2001. All security officers, managers and directors of contract manned security companies in the UK are required to hold a SIA licence. ECS were among the first 10 companies in the UK to achieve the exacting criteria of the highly prestigious SIA ‘approved contractor status' award, by achieving NSI Guarding gold standard, BS EN ISO 9000:2000, BS7499, 7858 and 7984. With a close-knit unit of over 200 enthusiastic licensed and fully vetted officers, ECS Group has a professional team, qualified to SIA Standards.
