Choi Kwang Do Black Belt Academy - CKD - Sports ClubWith many years experience in Martial Arts, CKDBBA Scotland is an expanding club that provides fun, fitness, and personal development to members within the local area and in the North East. Set-Up in 1996, the club is located in Alford, with sister schools in Kingswells and Aberdeen.
With over 80 friendly members, CKDBBA Scotland has a growing team of qualified Instructors in Choi Kwang Do. They have an expanding membership that are located in and around Alford, including Kingswells and Aberdeen. The club is run by Nadine Thomas (4th Dan) and John Flann (1st Dan). Having been involved with Choi Kwang Do for over ten years, Nadine Thomas is one of the most experienced and talented practitioners in the UK, and an excellent Instructor. The CKDBBA (Scotland) runs classes at Alford Public Hall on Tuesdays and Sundays, Kingswells Hall on Fridays and the Shell Pecten Club (Pitfodels) on a Wednesday lunchtime. CKDBBA Scotland is a member of Choi Kwang Do Marital Arts International, and is fully insured by the AMA.
