Belfast has 2 airports. Belfast International is based 25 Kms / 18 mile outside of the city. It takes 45 minutes to travel to Belfast and the fare should cost around £25. The second airport, Belfast City is located just 4kms / 2.5 miles outside the city and the average fare is around £15. Belfast differs from Dublin in that it uses Sterling (£) rather than euro.

Belfast boasts some great shopping, with 2 large shopping centres based in the City Centre., Castlecourt and the New Victoria Square. The main shopping hours are 9am-5pm with late night shopping on Thursdays. Most Shops are closed until 1.00pm on Sundays. The average cost for a beer is £3.00. glass of wine £3.60.
