The aim is to offer handmade jewellery to individuals with their own sense of style looking for an alternative to what is on the High Street. Jill (a self confessed earring addict) began making jewellery several years ago to raise funds for charity. Once the funds were raised, the enthusiasm for making things remained and she continued making jewellery as a hobby. To build on her skills she undertook a number of jewellery courses and in 2007 Beadifferent Designs was born.
The company's aim is to meet the demand for jewellery that is not mass produced, is not so high fashion that it dates quickly, and offers an affordable choice for those who have their own style and cannot find what they want on the High Street. While Jill monitors the evolving fashion and market trends they are not slavishly followed but adapted to provide a range of contemporary and classic items to reflect individual tastes.
The jewellery range comprises earrings, necklaces, bracelets and bookmarks. These are made from a variety of unusual glass beads, semi precious stones, pearls and Swarovski crystals. The designs range from classic to contemporary to encompass a variety of individual tastes and styles. All of the earrings are also available for non pierced ears at no extra cost. This feature has already proved very popular with a large number of customers who are delighted to have the same choice as everyone else. All items are available from the website and arrive already gift packaged in organza bags.
