With many years experience in the Driving Schools sector, Auto-Man school of motoring is a dynamic business that provides driver training in automatic or manual cars to clients throughout Glasgow. Established in 1981, the business is based in Glasgow. Auto-Man also offer specialist training for pupils with special needs and can provide cars that are adapted for such pupils. With it's experienced staff members, Auto-Man school of motoring has a growing team who are qualified as Driving Standard Agency Approved Instructors. This means that they have all been through extensive training and have completed the DSA exams. They must also undergo security checks by Disclosure Scotland before they can instruct the general public to drive. With so many years in business they have a large number of satisfied clients situated in and around Glasgow, including those arranged by Motability and The Scottish Assessment Centre. These previous pupils provide the bulk of Auto-Man's new customers. The company is owned by Tommy Walker who has been involved in the Driving Instructors trade for many years. Tommy Walker is perfectly placed to manage the company, having previously studied at Glasgow University, then gained great experience of dealing with the public as a manager with Scottish Brewers before spending a couple of years with BSM.
