DDP provides couples with a professional wedding photography service and offers a wide range of high quality, archival options. DDP has a client reception and dedicated album viewing and image editing space. Expert assistance is on hand to assist clients with their choices at all key stages.
With a BA(Hons) degree in Documentary Photography, full time professional status, along with recognition and qualification from the British Institute of Professional Photography, David Day has one of the highest levels of photographic qualification. He has plenty of practical experience, including over 100 weddings photographed.

4.7 out of 5 | David did our wedding photography in July 2009. From the start David was very professional and made detailed notes of the type of photography that we would like and he was very helpful.
On the day, David took hundreds of photographs and stayed with us all day right until the evening and didn't leave until after our first dance. David made the day for both myself and Chris very comfortable and blended in the background when taking the photographs. We didn't even notice he was taking some photographs.
After our honeymoon David made a journey to our home to hand deliver the memory stick with the photos on it.
I asked for certain photos to be edited and David did this without any hesitation and the album that David did was excellent, both Chris and I were over the moon with the work that had gone into the album.
The quality and sharpness of the photographs was like no other album that we have seen, David wasted no space on any page and filled every inch with photographs so we really got value for money.
Family and friends that have looked at our album were overwhelmed.
I would strongly recommend David Day photography - you will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 | We got married at Newstead Abbey in 2004, from the very start David put us at ease about the whole process, we were never rushed and his attention to detail on the day was exceptional. He had already been to the venue and checked out where to get the best shots from, he organised all of our guests so that no-one was stood around waiting or wandering off. David has such a way to make you feel relaxed, you forget that he is there and those unexpected photos are lovely. I still open our album to this day and just love his work. We found that he made every effort to find out what we wanted and visited the venue prior to the wedding to get an idea of what settings he could place us in.
Every special moment was captured so beautifully, and when it came to selecting the photos for the album we were given as long as we needed, using a fantastic system that made it much easier to narrow it down.
The photo was placed in the evening post and looked fantastic and when the album arrived it looked amazing. i still love looking through it.

David often went the extra mile, like visiting our venues prior to the wedding which we did not expect. He also took the time to go through what would happen on the day so we would have no surprises, all without rushing us!
David provided us with a personalised service that helped to make our wedding day special capturing many of our memories on film for us to treasure!! I would have no hesitations in recommending him to anyone!

The meetings in his office/studio felt friendly and not hurried, and on the wedding day it didn't feel like he was rushing us for photos or 'in our face' he kept popping up took a picture or two then moved on to something or someone else, so overall it felt very relaxed.
