When I first contacted Val, I was a bit nervous, since I was unsure what to expect and how much I'd have to dig into my pocket for her proof-reading services. But I was very pleasantly surprised when she came back with the price and estimation of how long it would take.

Once I gave the work to Val, she began immediately, giving my feedback regularly. I received samples of how it would be and once Val reached half way trough the work, she passed it too me to check before completing the rest of the work.

It was surprising how much Val picked up, from the smallest grammar mistakes, to removing repetition, she even checked the correct spellings of historical figures in the work to ensure that I spelt their names correctly.

The proof-reading changes were easily detectable since Val used track changes in MS Word, and her suggestions were very good.

I would definitely recommend Val for any type of proof-reading.

Val has provided a fast proofreading service with satisfactory quality and affordable price. During the proofreading process, she is more than willing to communicate to the customers and to answer any questions. Despite the fact that a PhD thesis is a laborious work to proofread, Val has managed to fit this project within a restrained time frame. I'm grateful for her efforts to polish my work and I'm very satisfied with the results.

I used Val's Proofreading Service when compiling the final draft of my new novel. Val's attention to detail was exceptional, and I was extremely pleased with the results. She highlighted all of the punctuation issues in my draft in addition to offering suggestions for how I might change the grammar where needed. Her input was very constructive and I felt much more confident with my finished manuscript, knowing that all of my typesetting issues had been diligently flagged, leaving me free to simply remove or modify them where necessary.
