Dave has now undertaken several projects for us, without doubt the best builder I have experienced would not hesitate to recommend him, we don't bother looking anywhere else now just go straight to Dave and Pauline.

I am a chartered surveyor who has used David Try builders on a number of occasions for loft conversions and house extensions. I have found them to provide a highly professional service with an eye for good detailing, completing the projects on time, and to budget. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a hassle free building project.

We used David Troy Builders to install a bespoke kitchen in our home last year after a fire destroyed our Kitchen and Dinning Room. The build was exceptional and we were very pleased with the end result. So much so that when we were considering building an extension on our home David was the first builder we called.

After agreeing a design and organising building approval David and his team quickly began construction. But, when it was discovered that our house is on a bomb crater and there was no solid ground for our foundations - we thought it was all over. David and his team, however, were not so easily put off. Working closely with Building Control they were able to address the issue by constructing a concrete raft, measuring 2m deep in parts, to support the new building. When complete building the extension continued at a pace and we are now the proud owners of a first class family room.

We are so glad we chose David Troy to work with. It takes knowledge and experience to manage a project this complicated. I highly recommend David and his team for any work of this sort.

David Troy has done a few jobs for me over the winter fixing a leaky roof, replacing broken guttering as well as odd jobs around the house. No job was too big or small and they were always reliable, punctual and excellent value for money. I have recommended him to family and friends and would gladly use them again. A great service all round which is rare in this industry!

We contracted David Troy to carry out a garage conversion, make structural changes to the interior of our house, fit a wood burning stove, and fit a kitchen. We chose David Troy because the quote they gave us for the work was £10K less than the first quote we'd had (and I'm not kidding!) With that in mind we were slightly wary but David came up trumps. From our first meeting, David came across as someone who was friendly, respectful, and very professional.

Once the contracts were signed we weren't disappointed; David and his team completed the project with the same level of professionalism, care and attention to detail. We moved with our two small children (and dog!)into the house half way through the work and David's friendly and respectful attitude meant that we were never disturbed, mess was always cleared up and the team were a pleasure to have around. In fact I think the kids missed them when they finished!

I'd recommend David Troy to anyone (and have already) and wouldn't hesitate to contract them again.

We bought a property last summer that required fairly extensive structural and cosmetic repairs/alterations both externally and internally. The quality of service and workmanship we received from all team members was and remains exceptional. The team are very dedicated, knowledgeable, trustworthy and tidy. David has fantastic communication skills and we were fully informed of the progress of all works each day. There were complications along the way given the age of the property and David always provided sensible and cost effective solutions in consultation with us. David and Pauline always try to source the cheapest quality products and we were confident that we were paying the most competitive price possible. Pauline provided huge assistance by designing our new kitchen/diner and provided numerous layouts for the kitchen units. The location (and contents) of each cupboard draw was fantastically thought through and the kitchen functions perfectly. We continue to use the team for smaller scale works now we are settled in the property and would not hesitate to recommend David and team to anyone, no matter how large or small the job. David and team turned our house into a home!

David Troy and his team have carried out three pieces of work for me over the last twelve months and each one far exceeded my expectations.
The first job was to replace a rotten pergola over the patio and to mirror image what was there, including all the detail. It was a perfect match in every way!
The second was to fit doors between the lounge and dining room. Again, a first class job.
The third and the one I thought wouldn't be possible to do, was to widen the entrance to my garage so I could put the car in. The line of cut through the brick work is perfect; the new guttering at the side of the porch is properly thought out and the UPVC covering is a pleasure to see each time I take the car in and out of the garage. The firm who fitted the new electric roller shutter door commented on the work saying "that's true craftsmanship". The neighbour opposite has commented that it looks better now than it did before!
In brief, David Troy is a firm where "Service and Excellence Meet" and is "Quality to the Core".

I recently had A wood burner Fitted By David Troy Builders. May I state that they are exceptional. I would recommend to anyone. The work was quick, the tradesmen were professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and cleaned up as they worked. They take pride in their work and it shows.All of the LABC detail is done for you and all within reasonable rates and with the back up information available and the advice on other matters since they did the work it has been the best money I have spent.I have recently started a full extension on my property which was contracted out before I found David Troy builders, they have offered me advice on the build, things to look out for and how to spot any would be deficiencies in the build. Thank you

David Troy demolished our old poor quality porch and built a new one to replace it, which we are very pleased with. We particularly valued the ease of communication and the fact that he listened to what we wanted and made helpful suggestions proactively on how we could achieve it. The end result is a porch, which is much more in tune with the period features of the house and many of our neighbours have commented on the quality of the finish.

I would highly recommend using David Troy for any sort of project, big or small!
They have been fantastic to work with. They managed and maintained several projects for us from over-seas and have been great to work with.
All there work is to the highest quality and they will do their best to provide you with sound advice which will ultimately save the client money but without compromising on quality!
I wouldn't consider using anybody other than them for all of our projects.
They are great to work with.

David re-pointed a chimneystack for me. He did a good job, and I felt he was an honest and reliable tradesman. I particularly appreciated the level of communication David entered into, and this ensured that my needs were listened to, and options explored. I will be happy to use David again.

We got this firm in to convert our garage into a whelping room to breed our dogs. In 2 weeks they got building control approval and finished the job to the highest standard with insulation etc more than required for building control who signed off the work no problem. It is now the warmest room in the house so we have moved some sofa's in and our tv and it has now become our den. First class work, top quality and in on time and on budget. You cannot ask for more. It is true what they say - stress free home improvements and they have turned our home into a stress free zone. We love our new snug and will probably spend most of the Christmas holidays in there.
