Job Overview

Forte Theatre are a theatre in education company who teach secondary school students specialised forms of physical theatre such as Bouffon, Commedia Dell Arte, Mask and tailor made workshops for all drama aspects.

We are looking for 4 / 5 enthusiastic, energetic and creative workshop leaders to work on a freelance basis. The job is suitable for people with at least 1 years experience in drama teaching; Physical Theatre experience is a bonus. We require people who are wiling to learn new skills and who can be highly dedicated and enthusiastic in their work. They need to have a strong interest in working with ages 11 – 18 yrs old. They need to be willing to travel around the South East and South West to various schools so being a driver with a car is preferred as trains can cause a problem with workshop times; Each facilitator will need to find their own way to each session.

A workshop style audition will be held on Thursday 5th June 2008 in Ascot, Berkshire. (Place and time to be confirmed once applied) If you are offered a position with the company you will need to be available for training on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th June in Ascot. CRB check is required or will need to be applied for ASAP.
