Job OverviewA chance to boost your CV with some valuable work experience. Envoi Dance are looking for an enthusiastic and committed dance teacher to assist in the delivery of dance workshops across the whole spectrum of schools in Bournemouth and Poole, with some work stretching out into the New Forest and Southampton. There may also be the chance to perform in displays in the autumn term, as part of our performance group (not necessary for the post though an added extra!).Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the delivery of dance workshops (across a range of topics and styles, including contemporary, Lindy Hop and gymnastics dance).To occasionally lead warm ups, being upbeat and a good role model to the learners. Assist with those children within the class who find dance more challenging, helping them to become involved in the workshop. Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredBA (Hons) degree in an Arts or Humanities subject.An ability to dance and show off! Experience of working with children, preferably in a school environment. Be able to deal with challenging behaviour in a mature, efficient and calm manner. Be able to work as part of a team. | Nearby
