Job Overview

MSI have been researching industrial markets for their own range of publications and private clients for over 25 years. MSI provide original research for business and industry, with emphasis on specialist industrial and business-to-business market coverage in the UK, France, Spain and Germany. The reports are designed to assist companies and industry bodies with market planning, benchmarking and forecasting.

Duties and Responsibilities

The company is currently undergoing a rapid expansion programme and, as a result, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals. This very interesting and challenging role will provide excellent work experience and give an insight into different industries. Career progression is available for the right individuals. A salary review will be carried out after a 6 month trainee period and a profit sharing scheme is also in place in addition to the basic salary. Furthermore, we offer a structured training system to maximise the candidate’s potential

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

The company is looking for fluent German speakers with excellent communication- and analytical skills to carry out market research. The trainee market researcher will be responsible for:
- interviewing professionals by telephone
- searching for supporting information
- analysing the data obtained from interviews
- writing market research reports

The ideal candidate will possess:
- a business related degree
- excellent writing and communication skills
- the ability to work independently
- ability to communicate in English
- fluency in other European languages is desirable but not compulsory
