Job OverviewA vacancy has arisen at our Daventry office for an experienced sales professional to join a successful team selling laser solutions for Micro applications in the UK. Applications should be made in writing to Rofin-Baasel UK together with a current copy of CV.
Duties and Responsibilities- Participation in marketing activities (mailshots, e-campaigns, exhibitions).
- Identifying and addressing new markets for our products.
- Prospecting for new customers
- Conducting demonstrations of our laser equipment for customers including producing samples.
- Preparing quotations, closing orders and managing contracts.
- Key account management.
- Frequent travel to manufacturing sites in Germany for training and accompanying customers.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required- Considerable experience in selling capital equipment into UK manufacturing industries.
- Good education, probably with a degree in science / engineering, highly literate and numerate
- Confident, self-motivated person, able to generate new business
- Excellent inter-personal skills in written and verbal communication
- Proven sales record, capable of price negotiation and closing deals.
- No experience of lasers required (full training given).
