Job Overview

To join a recently opened sales office, located in the financial district of Canary Wharf. Will be required to provide excellent account management of existing accounts and find new business opportunities through a variety of methods. This position represents a unique opportunity for a talented and experienced sales person to be part of an exciting and very rewarding new project.

MCS / CITYSource are Europe’s leading provider of Dell Poweredge Servers also offering Dell Powervault Storage, EMC Storage, VM Ware and Precision workstations. Specialise in refurbished product. Current sales £6m pa

MCS has historically sold these products in to the City eg IG Index, Sporting Index, Finsoft often to other resellers who are then selling application software.

MCS also supports legacy IT products through upgrades, warranty etc.

MCS is looking to expand the range of product lifecycle services it offers such as take back programs and IT recycling. This includes working with larger corporate users to recover value from their surplus IT assets in an environmentally friendly manner.


Duties and Responsibilities

The Primary role of the Sales Account Executive will be to:

- Develop excellent customer relationships through the provision of an outstanding quality service
- Be able to maximise the sales potential of the set accounts you own
- Proactively seek to understand your clients business needs at all levels and work to ensure they are met
- Manage backlogs and offers solutions / alternatives where necessary
- To find new sales opportunities through existing and new customers to CITYSource
- Understand their business and be able to communicate at all levels, to maintain and increase customer satisfaction
- Be able to identify and report which accounts would be commercially profitable to CITYSource and apply the relevant time and focus
- Consistently hit growth revenue targets.


Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

Previous sales experience of Computer hardware and / or services desirable.
