Job Overview

Personal Care Assistant required for gentleman with learning disability who lives independently in his own home. Great hourly rate (£7. 40)and benefits offered for the right person. Full and Part time roles available. Experience preferred but not essential. Foreign nationals welcome and assistance with work permit available.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting with household chores and cooking light meals. Accompanying client on walks and social outings.
Assisting with personal care.
Keeping accurate records and helping to administer medication (with support).
Shift pattern 7-2 / 2-9 / 9-7 (waking night).

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

Experience with epilepsy and blindness preferred.
Quiet and calm demeanour preferred as client is sensitive to sound.
