Job OverviewLooking for an ambitious sales professional with media sales experience who is competent to oversee and manage all client accounts for a global consulting company.
A proven track record for winning new business and generating new leads is essential!
An ideal and suitable candidate will be motivated, educated to a high standard, intelligent, confident, self-starting and enthusiastic.
They will be required to sell across a varied platform of publications and websites.
The ideal candidate would have their very own client records and be in a strong position to add to this, via generating leads via our own database of contacts.
The role requires a great deal of flexibility and to be successful, candidates should be able to think on their feet and demonstrate initiative and a hunger to succeed.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey requirements:
- Generating revenue across print and online products for your brand including all the usual online inventory as well as CV databases, targeted emails and sponsored keywords
- Managing your own database of clients through telephone contact and meetings
- Building strong client relationships
- Conducting presentations and formal/informal meetings
- Analysing and improving our position in the market
- Strong work ethic
- Sense of accountability and responsibility
- Commitment to development of publication
- Team player
- Working with the advertising team.
- Agree strategy and define key target markets for the publication
- Develop strong relationships with advertisers and clients
- Work towards and achieve agreed revenue and yield targets
You will be expected to achieve agreed realistic sales revenue, from which you will take a very generous and attractive uncapped commission, which is paid monthly with a possible retainer.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredThis is a demanding role, with fantastic career opportunities at becoming and developing into a more senior role within the company.
Understanding the fundamentals of selling is very important and experience of the Media Sales process would be desirable.

Telesales, business development, cold calling, sales closing, outbound sales, sales, B2B sales, generating leads, new business, advertising, media sales, marketing, field sales.
