Job Overview

Mad Science is coming to Merseyside and West Cheshire!
We deliver fun science events to children primary aged children. We seek a highly motivated person with a fun outgoing personality, a passion for science and a brain for business to join our team. You will be trained to lead a team of part-time staff delivering events in the Merseyside area, with time spent partly in the field and partly at our main office in Walton Summit, just off M6 south of Preston.

Duties and Responsibilities

Delivering fun science events with a passion!
This will be mainly in the Merseyside and West Cheshire areas, but also other venues in the Northwest of England!
Events include whole school assemblies, in-school workshops, after-school clubs, parties, shows and special events.
Training and leading a team of part-time staff to deliver Mad Science events.
Assisting and later leading, the sales and marketing of Mad Science events in the Merseyside and West Cheshire areas.
Responsible for the scheduling and operations of events in this area.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

Degree in a Science Subject
Experience working with children
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Extremely reliable and punctual
A driver, with access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes
Experience of managing or leading a team (preferable)
IT literate.
