The company was established in 2001 and is growing at around 70% per annum from its current 25-strong team.Stream UK are looking for a Junior Systems Administrator. Duties and ResponsibilitiesJOB TITLE: JUNIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT LOCATION: CENTRAL LONDON SALARY: £18, 000 + 20 DAYS HOLIDAY SKILLS: SUPPORT, NETWORKING, WINDOWS SERVER 2003The successful systems administrator will join an existing team working on supporting up to 30 work stations, offer server maintenance and front line support. Having progressed in this position the successful candidate will gain knowledge of the companies core streaming solutions. To be considered for this role you will be expected to have skills in Windows Server 2003, Linux, Networking, support work, and maintenance. This progressive role as a Junior Systems Administrator is best suited to graduates with excellent communication skills, an eagerness to learn, and in interest to progress to High Availability Support and Data Centre Support. In return for your skills, experience, enthusiasm, and willingness to provide support to the team and gain a variety of beneficial experience on cutting edge software and hardware. Essentially the role begins as temporary with the intention to going permanent which will mean an increase in benefits and salary based on the success of the candidate within the expanding department. Tasks: - Assists in Windows / Unix server installation and configuration. - Supports PC Installation and configuration. - Performs Network and Web Server Administration - Supports Backup and recovery procedures - Performs other duties as assigned. Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredProfile:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science - Must have understanding of Windows and Linux / Unix environments. - Analytical mindset - Must have good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work in both a team and independently - Shell Scripting, IIS, Sql, Cisco and advantage - Knowledge of database systems is an asset.
