Duties and Responsibilities

Your role will involve the following responsibilities:
Direct sales contact with customers
Demonstrating products
Answering questions regarding MP3 players, gadgets and headphones
Entering orders, handling money and processing credit card payments
Stock taking/administration
Product selection and promotions
Managing the rota
General supervision of the running of the retail store.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

This role would suit a talented sales assistant or executive who is confident in their sales ability and is looking for the next step in their career. As the Retail Manager of Advanced MP3 Players in Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre (Leith, Edinburgh) you will receive a salary of £15,000 - £18,000 per annum depending on experience. There is also a performance related bonus which will generally add an additional £2000 to £5000 per year to your salary!

Abilities and experience:
At least 2 years' of previous retail experience essential Good IT competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint Excellent organisation and attention to detai Independent worker (many weekday shifts will involve solo working) Passion for gadgets and technology! Entrepreneurial flare essential Working hours will be based on a shift system with a 35 - 40 hour week normal, along with frequent weekend work. No agencies applications please.
