Job OverviewA secondary school in Hertfordshire requires a Full-time Photography Technician. You will be responsible to the Head of Photography. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, organized, flexible, inspiring, and able to work under their own initiative. The closing date for applications, which are welcome from both Jewish and non-Jewish candidates, is Wednesday 25th June.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include: taking instructions from Photography staff, maintaining the photography equipment and resources, including hardware and software; camera equipment and Apple Macintosh and Windows computers, maintaining the organisation and tidiness of the Photography environment, setting-up and clearing away equipment for lessons, erecting and dismantling Photography exhibitions and displays, and stock control of photography supplies. Other duties to include organising and maintaining library books, giving technical help to students where required, and assisting the Art staff with general tasks including photocopying, filing, laminating, guillotining and preparing equipment for lessons.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredA good sense of humour is essential! This position would suit a photography graduate or person with suitable photography experience.
