Job Overview
Vision Homes Association provides support for people with impaired vision and additional disabilities.
You will be providing domiciliary support to a young woman with profound disabilities and complex health care needs to live independently, adjacent to her family home, near Leominster in Herefordshire.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties will include supporting her daily routines (which includes her personal care) and will include attending activities within the local community.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required
The successful candidate must be available to work shifts on a flexible basis, both days and nights, and may also be needed to cover staff absences.
Applicants should ideally have some experience (either paid or personal) in supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals.
Full training will be given along with the opportunity to attain an NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care.
This domiciliary care service has been awarded 3-star “excellent” ratings by CQC (CSCI) Inspectors.
