Job OverviewTo teach a class/classes of approximately 18, pre-school children and sometimes their parents a dance, musical, movement, P. E and action classes each week from an exciting, original and successful programme.
Dinky Dancers provides all equipment, lesson plans and music.
Dinky Dancers classes consist of 40 minutes of structured and pre-planned activity.
Support is provided to teachers in relation to all aspects of the teacher's role, including:
Lesson preparation and programme delivery
Office support for administration
Professional development and training is always supported
Annual reviews will support teacher's ongoing professional development.
Dinky Dancers classes' normally operate in the morning at 9:20, 10:20, 11:20am and in the afternoon at 1:10pm and 2pm to accommodate class leaders with children.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesClass teachers are expected to have fully prepared before all classes and should always be ready to greet the children and parents arriving.
At the end of the class, teachers should chat to parents/carers undertaking any administration required.
Administrative duties are expected of the teacher in relation to health and safety, accurate class registers, weekly updates, re-booking of children onto the following terms course, certificate preparation and presentation.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required-The teacher must be willing to attend specified training.

- Have a good sense of humour and fun
- Be able to follow a lesson plan, be punctual and reliable.
