Job OverviewOpika Care Ltd is currently looking to recruit full time and part time Home Carers with own transport to provide care services. The role of the Carer will entail tending to general day to day and also personal tasks tasks enabling the service user to continue to live within their own home whilst maintaining their independence.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Carer's duties will include, but are not limited to the following; general housework, providing companionship, providing assistance for the service user to leave the house, to undertake errands and provide general support. In addition personal care services will include, but are not limited to helping the clients get in and out of bed at the beginning and end of the day, overseeing medication and bathing, washing, toileting and dressing.Skills / Qualifications / Experience RequiredNo previous care experience is necessary as full training will be provided within the companies modern training facilities.Working hours are flexible. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicant has a full UK driving licence and has the use of a vehicle to undertake their duties.
